Narie is the grandmother of Narie’s owner; therefore, Narie’s Eatery & Coffee provides Grandma Narie’s old recipes, modernized by her son, Totong Sapoetra.
Narie’s Eatery & Coffee specializes not in selling food and beverages, but in providing a unique family experience.
Our logo illustrates Grandma Narie, who always gives a friendly welcome, making everyone feel the warmth of the place. We want our customers to always feel welcome, comfortable, and cozy. We aim to help them release fatigue and refresh themselves by enjoying our unique foods and beverages.
A brief history about Naries
In 1997, Totong Sapoetra opened Otak-Otak Modern (OOM Resto) in Bandung. OOM Resto is widely known in the area and often serves the Indonesian president’s palace. Recently, Totong Sapoetra’s daughter, Debby Sapoetra, had an idea to expand the business further by creating Narie’s Eatery & Coffee in Gading Serpong. It serves similar food to OOM Resto but in a different way.
Both restaurants use fresh, high-quality, premium ingredients, with no MSG or added chemicals. Interestingly, their traditional otak-otak (grilled fish paste) is made with 98% fish and served with a delicious, thick peanut sauce.
